For Junior Accountant, the online competitive examination is an objective MCQ paper of 2 hours. Part-A carries 60% weightage and covers accounting, taxation, auditing and related subjects, while Part-B carries 40% weightage and includes reasoning, mathematics, GK/everyday science, Hindi and English.
For Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II, selection consists of Phase-I CBT and Phase-II Type Writing Test. Phase-I has Pre-examination and Main Examination. The Pre-exam is only for screening, while the Main Examination carries 40% weightage and the Type Test carries 60% weightage.
The Hindi and English typing tests each include a 10-minute speed test and a 10-minute efficiency test, carrying 25 marks each. There is no interview.
