The recruitment includes both rural and urban Home Guard vacancies.

For rural and urban Home Guard enrolment, 50% of the posts are earmarked for women. In the urban category, 50% of vacancies are earmarked for technically skilled candidates.

Jharkhand Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2026

Rural Home Guard

Candidates applying for Rural Home Guard must be a permanent resident of the concerned block of Deoghar district from which they are applying. The minimum educational qualification is Class 7th pass.

Urban Home Guard
